Usher is fascinated by what he saw then took LA Reid, Chairman of Island Def Jam and offered a recording contract with record label Island Records on Justin Bieber who at the time was 15 years old. Justin then issued singelnya "One More Time" and videod in 2009. While his first album, My World, was published in November 2009.
The album also featured Usher, who also appeared in the music video, "One Time". His first single, One Time occupies position 12 in the Canadian Hot 100 and position 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. Together Miranda Cosgrove, Bieber became a presenter of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards just before the appearance of Taylor Swift. A few days earlier, Bieber performed the song "One Time" at the MTV VMA Tour to promote the event. On 26 September 2009, Bieber performed at the YTV's The Next Star, and announced that "One Time" get Platinum in Canada.
